Will I own the source code and Intellectual Property (IP)?
Absolutely. Upon final payment, 100% of the source code, design assets, and intellectual property rights are legally transferred to you. You are the sole owner of your platform, and we can even set up a code escrow for enterprise peace of mind.
Why should I partner with an engineering team instead of a solo developer?
A solo developer writes code; we engineer businesses. Relying on a single person creates a massive bottleneck for your product. At Tectonix, you get a dedicated, full-stack team—architects, UI/UX designers, and QA testers—working in sync. This ensures your platform is secure, scales effortlessly, and launches on time without the risk of someone disappearing halfway through.
How often will I see progress? Will I be kept in the dark?
Transparency is our core value. You will receive a testable build of your app every 2 weeks (Sprint methodology). You will also have a dedicated Project Manager and a private Slack channel for daily updates, so you always know exactly where we stand.
What happens after the app is launched? Do you disappear?
Never. Every project includes 30 days of "Hyper-Care" support to fix any immediate issues for free. After that, we offer monthly "Growth Partner" retainers to handle maintenance, updates, and new feature development.
What technology stack do you use and why?
We specialize in Flutter for mobile apps because it allows us to deploy to iOS and Android simultaneously with native performance. For the backend, we use scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Google Cloud) with Node.js or Python, ensuring your app can handle millions of users.
My idea is unique. Will you sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)?
Yes. We respect the confidentiality of your vision. We are happy to sign a standard Mutual NDA before our first discovery call to ensure your intellectual property is fully protected.
Are there any ongoing costs after the development fee?
We believe in zero surprises. Beyond our development fee, you will only be responsible for your own third-party service costs, such as App Store fees ($99/year), Domain hosting, and Cloud server usage (AWS/Firebase). We will provide a detailed estimate of these operational costs during our Discovery phase so you can budget accurately for the year.
